If you love anagrams and games where you make words from letters, then you’ll have fun with the new free word game and brain teaser for Android, WordApt. While you’re playing WordApt, you’re also learning new words and challenging your vocabulary. Where else can you play a game that helps you sound smarter in real life?

To play, you’re given a word in English. From this word, your goal is to form other words of three or more letters. They can be words with the same pronunciation, or words that are spelled differently. For example, if you get the word HOME you can form the word HOLM. As long as your word can be found in the dictionary, it’s acceptable.

You can also form words by splitting up the pronunciation of the given word, but the exact spelling can’t be found the given word. For example, if you’re given the word SPICE, you can create words like SPY, PIE, AYE, EYE and SPEISS—but not the word ICE, because it’s already found letter-for-letter in SPICE.

If you need hints or clues to help you, WordApt can give you letter reveals. You can progress through more than 400 challenging levels to keep you motivated. And if you want to show off your growing word wizardry, you can share to Facebook directly from the app.

The WordApt vocabulary app and game is a 2017 Mobile Star Awards Winner. You can try out the free word game now on Google Play, and follow or contact WordApt below. You can also send in new word suggestions for the game to the email below.
