Logitech’s iPhone case+ for the iPhone 5 and 5s now has a suite of mobile accessories. The company’s new $200 case+ accessories pack includes: the case+; the +tilt, a kickstand and cord keeper; the Logitech +energy, which aims to double your phone’s battery life; the Logitech +drive, a mount for a car window or dashboard; and the Logitech +wallet, which lets you keep your cards and cash in your phone case.
You can attach one or more of the optional accessories to the back of the iPhone case, which has a metal plate that holds the magnetically mounted additions, as well as providing an added layer of protection. The new accessories in detail include:
The +tilt is a combination kickstand and earbuds wrap. When switching from kickstand mode after chatting or watching a video, just wrap your earbuds cord over your smartphone, then fold and remove the +tilt panel for quick and hassle-free storage.
Snap the +energy battery pack onto your phone when you won’t have access to a charger, and get up to double the power of your battery, according to Logitech.
The +drive car phone mount attaches to your windshield or dashboard through a suction cup with a single twist action to lock it in place. Your iPhone with case+ case then magnetically attaches to the +drive. The mount also comes with a universal adapter that allows a second smartphone to be used with the system.
The +wallet case add-on stores cards, cash, or keys and attaches them magnetically to your case+. Logitech touts the +wallet’s “Magnashield” technology, which it says creates a barrier to prevent demagnetization. However if you’re prone to laying your phone down in public places, it’s a good idea to keep your wallet or keys in your pocket or purse, separated from your phone.
Besides the above, the iPhone case+ collection also includes a USB charging cord, universal adapter, and dashboard adapter. The pack is available now for around $200 US from at Logitech.com and from select retailers.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 tablet keyboard added
In other Logitech news, the company announced a keyboard case for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 Android tablet, in addition to Logitech’s current lineup of tablet keyboard cases. The Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 available in the US and in selected countries in Europe for about $100 US.
