Synchronica's Mobile Manager provides businesses with a self-care MDM facility, enabling them to configure, manage and secure employees' Smartphones over-the-air (OTA). Mobile Manager can also be used by mobile operators and application service providers (ASPs) to manage subscribers' phones, with support for Windows Mobile, Pocket PC and Symbian Smartphones. It has a simple Graphical User Interface with a step-by-step Wizard, enabling administrators at all levels to manage a fleet of devices, without intensive training.

As well as providing the ability to query devices and update applications and configuration OTA, Mobile Manager also provides a vital security function, enabling IT managers and service providers to remotely lock, and wipe data from phones if an employee leaves the company, or if a device is reported lost or stolen. Where a phone has been reported stolen, the IT manager can also activate the Synchronica Scream feature, causing the device to emit an annoying high pitched wail to annoy and embarrass the thief.

Synchronica's award winning Mobile Gateway 3.0 was developed in response to market-demand for synchronisation software based on open mobile industry standards, allowing mobile email, calendar and contact information to be synchronised with almost all mobile phones, without requiring the end user to install any software on the device.

Mobile Gateway 3.0 also includes a client provisioning feature making it even easier for consumers to activate their push email service via an intuitive web portal. Using the widely adopted industry standard OMA CP (Open Mobile Alliance Client Provisioning), Synchronica's client provisioning module provides over-the-air configuration of synchronization (SyncML / OMA DS) and email clients (IMAP / SMTP), removing the need for manual device configuration. Users simply select their country, operator, phone maker and model from a menu in the Mobile Gateway portal and receive a configuration message on their phone, automatically configuring the device for push email and synchronization.

Consumers can use Mobile Gateway 3.0 to access popular email services such as MSN, AOL, Gmail or Yahoo on standard mobile phones. Businesses can use Mobile Gateway to synchronise with mail servers like Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino and Sun JES, without needing to install any software behind the corporate firewall.

In 2007, Synchronica launched Mobile Gateway 3.0, with support for Push-IMAP, providing service providers an opportunity to deliver push Email services to the widest range of consumer mobile devices on the market including standard feature phones and high end Smartphones including the Apple iPhone.

Delivering Push-Email requires support for mass-market devices from a wide variety of manufacturers. Proprietary Push-Email solutions require client software to be installed on the device and are limited to high-end Smartphones -which represent only a small fraction of the mobile phone market. Industry-standard solutions, like Mobile Gateway, do not require additional software on the device and instead use the built-in Email and synchronization clients addressing the vast majority of devices.

Synchronica Mobile Gateway is among the first synchronization middleware products to combine support for both SyncML (OMA DS), which is optimized for synchronization of calendar and contacts and Push-IMAP (LEMONADE), which is optimized for mobile Email delivery. By combining Push IMAP for mobile Email with SyncML for synchronization of calendar and contacts Mobile Gateway provides the ideal solution supporting the widest range of devices on the market, including those used in developing markets such as India, Africa and Eastern Europe, where PC ownership is low, but mobile device usage is showing exponential growth. In these territories, Synchronica predicts that the mobile phone will become the primary device for accessing email.
