In
just two years, Oscar Rambaldini has overseen 100% growth
in SOTI's Development Team, and directed product support for
three more mobile platforms: BlackBerry, Android, and iOS.

Oscar
Rambaldini, Director, Product Development, SOTI, graduated from
the University of Toronto in 2002 with a Bachelors of Applied Science,
majoring in Computer Engineering. He always had a passion for solving
design problems, and with the aid of his High School guidance counselor,
was urged to venture into software development. Oscar entered the
Mobile Device Management (MDM) field when he first joined SOTI in
January 2006. The market for MDM was still quite new at the time
and SOTI was an emerging player.

Junior
Software Developer was the first role Oscar held, but it was clear
from the beginning that he would be expected to take on a leadership
role. Recognizing his potential, Oscar was moved into project management
along with performing both sales and technical support duties. After
several months of conducting demos and webinars, he was finally
able to focus his attention on his passion: software development.
Oscar has subsequently spear-headed SOTI MobiControl v3.0 and every
release since, including rebrands and localizations. During the
past few years, SOTI MobiControl has become widely recognized as
the MDM solution of choice for Windows Mobile/CE based PDAs in the
world, winning Microsoft Mobility Solution of the year 2008, 2009
and 2010, thanks to Oscar's leadership!
In
August 2009, Oscar was promoted to Director of Product Development.
His greatest achievement has been overseeing the tremendous growth
of the Development Team which has increased by 100%. This was brought
on by the immense success of the product as well as the explosive
growth of the market for MDM and helpdesk solutions. Today, in addition
to Windows, SOTI MobiControl supports Apple iOS, Google Android
and RIM BlackBerry devices. Oscar facilitated this success by focusing
efforts on developing great software that meets the business needs
and fostering a team of passionate developers and testers, all striving
for the same goal: domination of the world of mobile device management!
