Aquila
has a team of 200 Field Service Technicians who are responsible
for performing work orders on Aquila equipment and facilities at
remote locations. Prior to implementing MobileFrame's solution,
each Field Service Technician was required to complete several different
forms by hand for each work order resulting in many hours spent
completing paperwork.
In
addition, at the end of each week, the Technician was required to
complete a comprehensive Activity Report detailing all of the work
accomplished that week. This single activity resulted in a half
day lost to paperwork. Not only was this manual data entry done
by the Service Technicians, but Aquila's office staff was required
to manually enter this data into the company's backend work order
management systems.
MobileFrame
Solution
When
Aquila deployed mobile applications developed on the MobileFrame
software platform to automate their data collection process, they
realized an immediate return on their investment. Those benefits

data entry on the Technician's daily forms and weekly Activity
Reports was eliminated.

Aquila

make changes to their applications themselves as business conditions
