is Birdstep's mobile VPN software solution for enterprises. SafeMove
addresses many of the issues that users have getting easily connected
to, and moving between, wireless networks as well as providing a
strong level of security for authentication of remote connections
and encryption of data over the air.

deployed in enterprises and government organisations across Europe,
SafeMove 's Zero-Click Connectivity automates a connection to the
best of the available networks based on established preferences
(eg. Cost, Speed, Provider) and then establishes the VPN session
with support for two-factor authentication methods if required.
Once connected SafeMove then allows seamless roaming across fixed
and wireless networks with automatic network selection and session
persistence so that VPN and application sessions survive changes
in network and gaps in coverage.
The
result is a LAN-like experience for the mobile user who never again

allowing their device to switch automatically between 3G and Wi-Fi
resulting in cost savings and better use of available bandwidth.
