They
can make and receive calls on their mobile devices (BlackBerry,
cell phone, smartphone, home phone, etc.) and have it appear as
if they are at their desks. They have access to all of the desk
phone features normally available on the wired phone such as extension
dialing, transfer, park and hold. Mobile workers also have the ability
to seamlessly move a call in progress from one device to another
without hanging up and re-establishing a new call.
The
Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite is software that is integrated with
a company's PBX. Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite can work with virtually
any vendors' PBX (TDM, IP, or mixed environment) and connects to
the PBX through either direct SIP or with PRI through a voice gateway.
The solution works with any mobile phone and carrier network.
The
Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite is also optimized for BlackBerry
Enterprise Solution delivering additional usability features like
visual menus on BlackBerry smartphones and the ability to authenticate
mobile devices with the PBX for logging, recording and audit purposes.
