Vivint in 2010 forecasted a doubling of business for its field workforce and engaged ClickSoftware for solutions to keep their workers connected. Vivint was able to expand from 250 Field Service Employees to 650 Field Service Technicians, transition from a Blackberry only mobile platform to a BYOD platform that includes iPhone, Android, and any other HTML5 compatible device. Among other benefits, the company’s Field Servicing Costs decreased by 40%, and Vivint was able to significantly decrease work travel time, and their 6 Month ROI was 4x the investment in ClickSoftware.
ClickSoftware’s scheduling engine automatically deploys the nearest technician to deal with any alerts or service issues triggered by the ‘Go!’ Control Panel. Furthermore ClickSoftware’s mobile solution provides dispatchers and thousands of field service technicians at Vivint with real-time information and dynamic routing. As a result, technicians are able to field nearly 30 percent more service calls every day. Furthermore, the company has been able to increase the products and services it offers by 50 percent, and customers consistently report outstanding service quality and responsiveness.
