Engineering has released its simply-named "NCP
Secure Entry Client" network access application,
which provides Symbian OS mobile phone users with secure
access to VPN gateways from different manufacturers. The IPSec
VPN client integrates data encryption, a dynamic personal
firewall, "Friendly Net Detection," and one-time
password token and certificate support through a public key

Zeacom
has released ZCC 5.1, the latest version of its Zeacom
Communications Center Unified Communications Suite.
ZCC 5.1 also includes updates to ZCC Executive Mobile, which
provides mobile access to a single mailbox, presence profiles,
and directory on Blackberry and Windows Mobile devices, or
on any web-enabled device via ZCC's web portal. ZCC 5.1 integrates
with Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes, and can automatically
adjust voice mailbox greetings based on calendar appointments,
as well as with instant messaging platforms such as with Skype,
MSN Messenger, Windows Messenger, and Live Messenger. For

Rove has updated its Mobile Admin network administration
software, which allows unified management of all IT systems
from a handheld device or computer. Mobile Admin 4.1 now includes
Mobile SSH, which offers full UNIX connectivity via SSH or
telnet, and adds Mobile Desktop, which allows administrators
to view their Windows environment exactly as it is appears

Sybase
iAnywhere
has released version 11.5 of its PowerBuilder 4GL rapid
application development (RAD) platform -- which includes its
PocketBuilder mobile development tool . Sybase is also releasing
version 11 of its SQL Anywhere database and synchronization
software, which adds new developer features, as well as
a new Web Edition targeting Web 2.0 and Rich Internet Applications.
Other standard SQL Anywhere features include embedded full-text
search, parallel sorting, support for BlackBerry and other
devices, MySQL, and background data synchronization.
Sybase
iAnywhere has updated its Afaria device management and
security software to version 6.0. The latest version of
Afaria, a component of the Sybase Information Anywhere Suite,
includes a new relay server architecture for data synchronization
and mobile device management functions, as well as new mobile
device port controls. Other new features include policy-based
device management capability, support for Open Mobile Alliance
Client Provisioning, and a local password recovery feature.

also announced its Unwired Platform, scheduled for

Absolute
Software is adding GPS tracking to its Computrace mobile
asset management software. This will allow IT managers
to track computers GPS-enabled laptops in the field to within
33 feet. IT managers can also view location reports using
Google Maps technology. If a computer equipped with Computrace
is reported stolen, Computrace sends a silent signal to Absolute's
Monitoring Center, which then works with local law enforcement

version 4.0 for BlackBerry Enterprise Server customers.
