Namco
Networks has added a new title to its mobile games lineup:
Popeye. Like the classic 80s arcade version, Namco's
Popeye lets players help him win back his sweetie Olive Oyl, by
collecting Olive's love tokens while overcoming the antics of
Popeye's rival, Bluto. The software is only available from namconetworks.com.

PhatWare
(phatware.com) has released version 3.0 of its Pocket
dbExplorer database management utility for Windows-based
mobile devices. Pocket dbExplorer allows users to manage
systems and application databases that contain device information
such as system settings, contacts and appointment lists,
emails, etc. Users can transfer between devices via infrared,
and export databases. Pocket dbExplorer now supports CEDB
and EDB database formats.

Pocket dbExplorer
also allows backup and restoring of databases as well as system
registry settings to a file, which can be stored on a flash memory
card or copied onto a desktop. Handango offers Pocket
PC and Smartphone
versions of Pocket dbExplorer 3.0 for US $17.95, with a free 30-day
trial available.
Sprite
Mobile has updated its Windows Mobile Sprite Backup
backup and recovery software, to v6.1. Sprite Mobile allows
all device data to be backed up to a storage device, one or more
desktop PCs, or over the air. Sprite Backup costs about $30, or
$20 in a "Lite Edition" that lacks the FTP backup functionality.
It supports Windows Mobile 2003, 5, and 6. Sprite Mobile is only
available from spritesoftware.com.
