New features include two-click access to popular Web transactions, OTA upgradeable user personalization and view options, core capacity and acceleration enhancements, and up to forty percent improvement in speed for popular mobile use cases, according to Novarra. The new version also adds Chinese and Spanish language support in nWeb BREW, Polish and Italian language support in nWeb Java.

Redknee announced the availability of its Unified Rating and Charging System (URCS), which enables network operators to offer subscribers more personalized services and bundled plans for charging all subscriber transaction as they occur in real-time. This applies to any type of account, including prepaid, postpaid and hybrid accounts, plus any type of service such as voice, messaging, data or content. Operators have the ability to verify usage limits and view account balance status in real-time before authorizing services and deploying point-of-service pricing.

XandMail, announced the availability of Mobile Podcast Solution, a carrier-grade offering that pushes podcast, video or any RSS feeds directly to a mobile phone. According to the company, the user only has to list the RSS feeds he wants to keep an eye on (by directly entering the feed address or using the auto-discovery feature) and choose whether he wants to receive a selection of updates or all new posts, how often and at what time of the day. Mobile Podcast Solution then periodically scans the feeds for updates and when a new post, podcast or video comes up, it is automatically converted into an MMS or a WAP push and sent directly to the subscriber's mobile phone.
