databases to be placed into categories and retrieved through a
drop-down list. Other new features include support for Windows
Mobile 5; an Auto-Save option; landscape/VGA device support; and
compatibility with the new Treo 700w and other square-screen devices.

have been created and submitted by HanDBase users. HanDBase is
available at DDHSoftware.com, or through Handango.com, Palmgear.com
and Smartphone.net in various versions based on the type of data
synchronization needed. Prices range from $25 to $100.

Orative
announced version 2.0 of its client-server based enterprise software
for mobile phones that combines presence technology, directory
synchronization, collaboration tools, secure messaging, corporate
voice mail notification and playback, and calendar alerts. New
features available in Orative Enterprise Software version 2.0
include: Corporate Voice Mail Integration, and a tool that allows
mobile users to request assistance from experts according to skill
set or group. The software runs on over 30 different handset models
and operates across multiple mobile networks simultaneously. See
orative.com.
RedCannon
Security has announced its KeyPoint Access product that combines
endpoint security with a suite of enterprise access software on
a keychain-sized USB personal security device. Because KeyPoint
Access stores cookies on the USB device rather than the host PC,
prevents all Web tracking, and leaves no trace of the user session
upon exit, there is no need to download or install any software
or drivers. KeyPoint Access is FIPS 140-2 Level 1 Certified, and
supports industry standards for encryption and authentication,
including RSA Security's SecurID two-factor authentication capabilities.
KeyPoint
Access includes VPN, email and Web clients, and is also available
with a direct interface to the RSA ACE Server or the Citrix ICA
Server. RedCannon's enterprise management capabilities allow organizations
to manage and track all mobile devices connected to the network,
and to deploy, update, track, disable, lock out or destroy any
number of KeyPoint devices. The policy-based engine allows remote
control of automated provisioning, password recovery, user-change
management and other features. It also produces reports demonstrating
regulatory compliance. For more information, see redcannon.com.
