Twas
the Night before a Hacker's Christmas

23, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Editor's note: This may not
go down in the annals of great poetry, but we thought it was
a clever twist on the popular tale:
Twas
the night before Christmas, when all through the office
Not a mouse was a stirrin', no keys to be amiss.
While all of the workers had locked up with great care,
The hacker had waited and soon would be there.
He planned a great entrance without such a clatter,
A loop had been opened that none thought would a'matter.
Away in his knapsack he held a great treasure,
Small trinkets called "Palm," "PDA" awaited
his pleasure.
He was
chubby and plump, a right jolly ol' hacker,
But a mission he had, one not made for a slacker
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know there was so much to dread.
He spoke
not a word, but went straight to his work,
And stole all the data, then turned like a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, said company now exposed!
He sprang
off his seat, landing safe in his bed,
News of the breach quite soon would be spread.
But I heard him exclaim, 'ere he drifted in sleep,
"Happy Christmas you morons! You're breached, so <<
bleep bleep>>!"
