WebEx announces WebOffice; eAgency updates NiceOffice for
Windows devices

14, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- In separate announcements,
both eAgency and WebEx announced new mobile collaboration
software. Where WebOffice is web based and thus can technically
run on any advanced mobile browser, eAgency is targeted at
just Windows and Windows Mobile PDAs or smartphones.
WebEx's
WebOffice Workgroup and WebOffice Personal are business
collaboration web based applications designed for small businesses
and individuals, respectively. Either version is can be setup
online in a few minutes, according to WebEx.
WebOffice
Workgroup is targeted at small businesses with five or more
users. Workgroup provides manager consoles for documents,
group calendars, databases, tasks, discussions, announcements,
contacts, expense reports, opinion polls, admin tools. There
are also customization and add-on features. Workgroup pricing
starts at US $59.95 for five users. Users can add web meetings
for an additional $49.95 per month per host.
WebOffice
Personal is a pared-down version that provides individual
users with real-time web meetings, plus a document manager,
task manager, online calendar, and contact manager. WebOffice
Personal costs US $49.95 per month.

says that these two new products are the first in a planned

eAgency,
based in Newport Beach, CA released the latest version of
its Nice Office Wireless software, for use on Windows
Mobile, Pocket PC and Smartphone devices.
Targeted
at small-to-medium sized businesses, Nice Office Wireless
offers wireless synchronization of sales and customer data,
industry data, along with emails, calendar information, appointments,
and contacts. Nice Office users receive their leads and customer
inquiries along with all of their remaining data, including
previous activities and sales, without cradling or connecting
the device.
Nice
Office is an on-demand solution and doesn't require third-party
integration or additions to corporate infrastructure. It provides
a full suite of Sales Force Automation features like the Sales
Funnel, Opportunity Management, Mail Merge, Custom Contact
and Sales Fields ... as well as Maps and Directions.
