OQO upgrades its Windows XP handheld computer

27, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- OQO today released the OQO
model 01+, an upgraded version of its model 01 handheld computer
that runs a full version of Windows XP (not Windows Mobile).
In addition
to upgraded memory, larger hard drive, and faster USB, the
model 01+ incorporates an internal speaker and improved pen-based
digitizer. The model 01+ now ships with a new universal power
supply which adds support for airplane and automobile DC power
outlets.
Like
the regular model, the OQO model 01+ weighs 14 ounces and
measures 4.9" x 3.4" x .9".

OQO
is also selling several new accessories including a VGA
adapter, battery charging adapter, and stronghold hard-anodized
metal case all compatible with both the model 01+ and
model 01. |
