Skyscape adds healthcare articles service & cardiology
references
August
23, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Skyscape has announced the
launch of a new real-time Clinical & Healthcare Articles
service on its website, created in collaboration with Advanstar
Medical Economics (AME), the second largest medical publisher
in North America.
The company
has also added cardiology references formatted specially for
PDAs and smartphones: Jones and Bartlett Publishers' "Dx/Rx:
Coronary Thrombosis" and "Dx/Rx: Heart Failure".
"Dx/Rx:
Coronary Thrombosis" is authored by Richard C. Becker,
MD, Duke Clinical Research Institute and Frederick A. Spencer,
MD , UMass Memorial Health Care. "Dx/Rx: Heart Failure"
is written by Theo E. Meyer MD and Dennis A. Tighe MD.
Organized
into a highly condensed outline bulleted format, the new manuals
detail current information for diagnosis and treatment. Throughout
the references tables and figures summarize important clinical
data and current professional society recommendations, while
references direct readers to additional information.
Both
also feature Skyscape's patented smARTlink technology, which
enables readers to easily cross-index with other clinical
and drug prescription products from Skyscape.

Skyscape's
new Clinical & Healthcare Articles service provides medical
practitioners with free access to content from dozens of AME's
medical journals - including Medical Economics, Contemporary
