Survey: CFOs rank cell phone most useful portable tool; laptops
a close second

1, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Most people have one technology
tool they can't live without. For financial executives, it's
the cell phone. In a survey of chief financial officers (CFOs),
cell phones topped the list as the most indispensable portable
technology device, with 32 per cent of the responses. Laptop
computers came in close second, cited by 29 per cent of executives
polled.
The survey
was developed by accounting and finance management outsourcing
agency Robert Half Management Resources. It was conducted
by an independent research firm and includes responses from
271 CFOs from a stratified random sample of Canadian companies
with more than 20 employees.

were asked, "Which of the following portable technology
devices do you consider most indispensable in your life?"
