Symbol's latest wireless client bridge connects up to 16 wireless
devices
July
25, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Symbol Technologies (NYSE:SBL)
today introduced the CB3000 client bridge, a wireless device
that aims to help provide enterprise users with wireless connectivity
and access to information in areas of businesses not usually
connected to a network.
The new
CB3000 client bridge lets businesses connect up to 16 Ethernet-enabled
devices to a network at locations where installing Ethernet
cable was not an option or cost-prohibitive or if the device
required frequent location changes.
The CB3000
client bridge can provide a wireless network connection for
Ethernet-enabled devices such as printers, scales, medical
equipment, manufacturing machinery, time clocks and point-of-sale
(POS) devices and systems.
The Symbol
CB3000 client bridge is available to order in select regions
through Symbol partners. For more information on pricing and
features, see the Symbol web site.
