Impatica software lets BlackBerry Server users view PowerPoint
attachments
August
8, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Impatica today released software
that lets enterprise level BlackBerry subscribers receive
and view full- featured PowerPoint e-mail attachments on BlackBerry
handheld devices.
The software
enables users to view PowerPoint rich text, images, charts,
graphs, animations and slide transition effects. Users have
the ability to navigate forward and backward between slides,
zoom to magnify important text and graphics, or revisit a
presentation even without wireless coverage. Presentations
are automatically sized and oriented to fit the target BlackBerry
screen.
Impatica
for BlackBerry Enterprise Server installs behind the customer's
firewall along with the BlackBerry server software. It integrates
with Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino and Novell GroupWise
e-mail servers and enables PowerPoint viewing for all BlackBerry
subscribers associated with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Impatica
for BlackBerry Enterprise Server is available directly from
Impatica, or from distributors and strategic partners. A free
30-day evaluation copy is available from the Impatica web
site.
