VoiceSignal speech software gets download update for Moto MPx220 users

July 6, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- VoiceSignal has announced the first available download of its one-step voice command speech software for the Motorola MPx220 smartphone. The U.S.- English version of VoiceSignal's VSuite 2.0 is available on Handango.

The VSuite 2.0 speaker independent speech software is an upgrade to version 1.3 that is already bundled in the MPx220 phones. The Handango download is a version of the software created especially for the MPx220.

VSuite 2.0 simplifies the structured dialogue interface of earlier speech applications by allowing the user to make a single natural command to dial a number, dial or lookup contacts, or launch applications installed on the MPx220. VSuite 2.0 also allows the user to address text messages with a single simple "send text to" command, making "single-click" message addressing possible.

Like other VoiceSignal software, VSuite 2.0 is a speaker independent application that requires no training, and any contacts added to the phone's contact list or SIM card are automatically voice enabled.

VoiceSignal VSuite 2.0 retails for US $19.99 on Handango.
