20, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Idokorro Mobile has released
version 3.0 of its Mobile Admin remote network management
software, which now supports BlackBerry, Palm, Windows Mobile
/ Smartphone, and Nokia Series 60 and 80 handheld devices.
Idokorro
Mobile Admin provides IT administrators with the ability to
manage their networks using wireless devices such as BlackBerry,
Palm, Windows Smartphone and Pocket PC, as well as Nokia Series
60 and 80 devices. IT administrators can perform a range of
network administration tasks, including management of Microsoft
Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL Servers, as well
as Lotus Domino, Oracle, and Novell servers.
In addition
to added support for more devices, the latest version of Mobile
Admin now lets adminisrators browse the network and add servers
to be managed, from a handheld device. Mobile Admin 3.0 also
adds BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0 management features,
including the ability to "kill" handhelds, set passwords,
lock handhelds, and set enterprise activation passwords.
Mobile
Admin 3.0 is currently available with support for BlackBerry
and Palm devices. Support for Windows Mobile and Nokia Series
60 and 80 is currently in the final rounds of beta testing
and will be available shortly, according to Idokorro.
The software,
as well as a 30-day free trial version, is available for download
