Avidian's Outlook-based CRM software hits Palm handhelds
June
27, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Avidian today announced Prophet
for Palm, an add-on Palm OS version for the company's desktop
sales and contact management software for Microsoft Outlook.
Built
on the .NET platform, Prophet integrates into Outlook, eliminating
the need to manage multiple contact databases or toggle between
separate applications. Prophet also integrates with other
critical business applications, according to Avidian.
Users
can create, edit or delete opportunities on the Palm as well
as add or review notes, activities and contacts. Upon their
return to the office, users can then synchronize Prophet updates
made in their Palm devices to their desktops or servers.
Prophet
for Palm also enables geographically dispersed sales teams
to create, edit, manage and post sales opportunity details
and centralize them for sales managers to use.
Prophet
for Palm is available as an add-on to Prophet and retails
for US $100 on Avidian.com or on Amazon.
