MobilityWare releases remote tech support tool for Palm &
Windows Mobile devices
May 24,
2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- MobilityWare today released MobileAssist,
an application for Palm Powered and Windows Mobile-based PDAs
and smartphones that aims to help enterprises and software
vendors provide real-time remote support of users and applications.
MobileAssist enables a technical support agent to have real-time
access and control of the user's device. The agent can monitor
the user's screen to see the exact problem, control the user's
device from a desktop computer for further troubleshooting,
or even show the user what he's doing wrong.
The tech support agent can use MobileAssist to examine databases,
files, and other system parameters, and then push updated
files and software to the Mobile device as necessary.
MobileAssist is available from the MobilityWare web site.
The comppany is a division of Upstanding, LLC, located in
Irvine, CA.
