TenDigits
Software puts Microsoft CRM applications on BlackBerry handhelds
Orlando,
FL, April 18, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- TenDigits Software
today announced its MobileAccess software that enables BlackBerry
users to access Microsoft customer relationship management
(CRM) applications.
TenDigits'
MobileAccess, powered by Flowfinity, provides offline access
to MSCRM Contacts, Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, Activities
and Notes. Changes to data in the field are instantly stored
on the BlackBerry device as well as the office system. Data
can be accessed even when offline, and users can work and
navigate multiple records simultaneously. The software also
provides form input and validation rules to increase data
collection accuracy.
MobileAccess
is customizable, with no programming required to create and
distribute customized forms and views, according to TenDigits.
The software, as well as new forms and views, can be installed
over-the-air to wireless handsets in the field.
For security,
MobileAccess leverages the BlackBerry Triple DES and AES security
and uses Microsoft Active Directory advanced directory and
security features.
According
to Microsoft, mobile sales solutions will constitute a nearly
$1 billion market by the end of 2006, a better than seven-fold
increase over the $132 million spent in 2002.
TenDigits
Software will be demonstrating MobileAccess for MSCRM at the
upcoming Wireless Enterprise Symposium, hosted by Research
In Motion, in Orlando, Florida on April 19-21, 2005.
MobileAccess
for MSCRM is available from Microsoft MBS partners including
Brodie Computes, Galeforce Solutions, Interlink, Quest NBS,
and Tectura. For additional product information or a trial,
see the TenDigits web site.
