Handy Solution updates its Palm OS tracking software

- Gary Thayer, Editor

Moscow, April 26, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Handy Solution has released new version of Handy Service tracking software for Palm OS handhelds. Handy Service can be customized and used for sales and shopping assistance, job management and work log tracking.

Handy Service can be used to track orders for goods or services, maintain lists, plan purchases, estimate purchase expenses, and view reports. The program allows the user to track jobs for multiple clients and account for done and paid jobs. It can also be used for tracking other items and activities, such as home inventory and gym workouts. No matter what the task, most information can be displayed on the screen in a variety of ways depending upon one's preferences.

Handy Service has an independent desktop program, which allows users to maintain all data on a desktop computer, view orders, print bills, export orders to Excel (csv) files, or load and save a list of goods to Excel files.

The new version introduces adds printing support, allowing users to print bills or price lists. Users can also export to memopad and memory card file, allowing them to send bills and prices somewhere else. The new version also adds wireless communication between a desktop computer and multiple handhelds, which allows an administrator to see what staff are doing.

Handy Service includes freeware lite version and desktop version. The Palm OS version costs US $23 and the desktop version is $9, and a bundle of both is $29. The wireless version (for sharing data between multiple devices) costs $29 per device. The programs can be downloaded at HandySolution.com.
