Handy Solution updates its Palm OS tracking software

April 26, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Handy Solution has released
new version of Handy Service tracking software for Palm OS
handhelds. Handy Service can be customized and used for sales
and shopping assistance, job management and work log tracking.
Handy
Service can be used to track orders for goods or services,
maintain lists, plan purchases, estimate purchase expenses,
and view reports. The program allows the user to track jobs
for multiple clients and account for done and paid jobs. It
can also be used for tracking other items and activities,
such as home inventory and gym workouts. No matter what the
task, most information can be displayed on the screen in a
variety of ways depending upon one's preferences.
Handy
Service has an independent desktop program, which allows users
to maintain all data on a desktop computer, view orders, print
bills, export orders to Excel (csv) files, or load and save
a list of goods to Excel files.
The new
version introduces adds printing support, allowing users to
print bills or price lists. Users can also export to memopad
and memory card file, allowing them to send bills and prices
somewhere else. The new version also adds wireless communication
between a desktop computer and multiple handhelds, which allows
an administrator to see what staff are doing.
Handy
Service includes freeware lite version and desktop version.
The Palm OS version costs US $23 and the desktop version is
$9, and a bundle of both is $29. The wireless version (for
sharing data between multiple devices) costs $29 per device.
