Vazu
lets PC users paste text content to mobile phones
Palo
Alto, CA, March 23, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Vazu has announced
version 2.0 of its Vazu Click software that enables people
to copy and paste any text content from a PC to almost any
mobile phone. Version 2.0 has two new features: Paste-to-Phone
and Text-to-Friend from Desktop to Mobile.
With
Vazu's patent-pending Paste-to-Phone feature, users can simply
copy (Ctrl-C) any text in any application on their PC desktop
and, with a simple Ctrl-Shift-V, send it to their own mobile
phone or to any SMS-enabled phone in the world. Users can
send Outlook emails, web page content (in Firefox or Internet
Explorer browsers), spreadsheet entries or other text document
clips.
For example,
users can copy important details, such as confirmation numbers,
street addresses or task lists, from an incoming email or
from a website, and send it directly to the mobile phone of
a traveling colleague or family member.
Click
2.0 also includes "Auto-Detect" of contacts feature,
which has been enhanced to support Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail
address books.
A beta
version of Vazu Click 2.0 is available for download from the
Vazu web site. The software runs on Windows 2000 and later
operating systems on a PC as well as Virtual PC. Vazu is offering
the first ten thousand US customers who download Vazu Click
2.0 five free credits to try Paste-to-Phone.
