Mobile launches wireless e-mail subscription service

Wireless, New Orleans, March 14, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) --
JP Mobile today announced the launch of SureWave Mobile Connect,
a wireless e-mail subscription service that lets mobile device
users receive their corporate hosted Microsoft Outlook e-mail
and personal information management (PIM) data from their
corporate or ASP/ISP Exchange server.
The SureWave
Mobile Connect service costs US $12.95 per month, and JP Mobile
is offerig a limited time free 30-day trial. Users can activate
their accounts on their own at the SureWave web site, but
will need to enter their Outlook Web Access path and Exchange
Domain name.
SureWave
supports Palm, Microsoft Windows Mobile, RIM and Symbian devices,
as well as wireless application protocol (WAP)-based mobile
phones.
JP Mobile
today also announced deals to co-market SureWave Mobile Connect
with device manufacturers Sony Ericsson and BenQ.
Besides
its Microsoft Outlook offering, JP Mobile also offers on-device
security software and push e-mail/PIM for Lotus Domino, Novell
GroupWise and enterprise line-of-business applications.
