updates its Pocket PhoneTools app to v4

March 15, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- BVRP Software today released
a version 4 of its Pocket PhoneTools Pro in the United States.
Pocket PhoneTools aims to be a one-stop communications tool
that allows users to dial, fax, text message, connect to the
Internet, and access phonebook contacts.
With
Pocket PhoneTools' voice enabled GSM/GPRS Compact Flash or
PCMCIA card, users can perform mobile phone functions, such
as make and receive phone calls, view call history, manage
contacts, voice mail, and send/receive faxes. The software
also includes a Contact Phonebook that enables Pocket PhoneTools
users to synchronize and transfer their Pocket PC contacts
to their mobile phone via Bluetooth.
Pocket
PhoneTools also acts as fax software, allowing a user to send
and receive faxes from his or her Pocket PC. Features include
fax annotation, multiple recipient transmission and word document
attachment. Users can also preview faxes before sending, and
check the transmission of a fax in real-time.
Pocket
PhoneTools automatically configures the user's Pocket PC Internet
Connection and connects to the Internet via GPRS, WAP or GSM.
The Internet Connection Manager enables users to connect to
the Internet in one click.
