Xpdient
project management software adds wireless phone capability
Columbia,
MD, March 7, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Xpdient, Inc. an operating
company of Scientific Systems and Software International Corp.
(SSSI), announced the release of xpdwireless, a new remote
access capability for its xpdoffice project management and
business automation software.
Xpdwireless
allows remote and mobile teams to enter and access critical
time and project information using standard cell phones. Version
1.0.1 currently works on web-enabled cellular phones, and
access is available through all major U.S. cellular carriers.
The company says it is working on adding more carriers and
devices. Xpdient also offers a version of the software --
xpdpalm -- for Palm OS devices.
Xpdient
says it is currently working to add xpdwireless access to
other elements of the xpdoffice suite of business automation
solutions, including expense and purchase order tracking.
The company has patent applications underway for xpdwireless
and other elements of xpdoffice.
