Taber's
Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary 20th edition now on PDAs

VA, Feb. 3, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Unbound Medicine today
added a new reference for handheld devices -- Taber's Cyclopedic
Medical Dictionary, 20th edition, published by F.A. Davis
Company.
According to the companies, the 20th edition of Taber's is
a significant revision with 8,400 new and revised terms (56,000
terms in all), 700 images, expanded disease entries, information
on complementary and alternative medicine, and tables and
appendices.
Unbound's PDA, Web and wireless version of Taber's Cyclopedic
Medical Dictionary, 20th edition, is available on CD-ROM from
F.A. Davis and its distributors, and from the Unbound Medicine
web site.
F.A. Davis says that Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary
is among its top selling titles, along with Davis's Drug Guide
for Nurses. In addition to nursing, Davis publishes for other
health professions including physical therapy, occupational
therapy, athletic training, clinical lab sciences, medical
assisting, respiratory therapy, and surgical technology.
