Tadpole
mobile software supports latest ESRI GIS
Carlsbad,
CA, Jan. 11, 2005 -- (MobileVillage) -- Tadpole-Cartesia,
the geospatial solutions division of Tadpole Technology plc
(LSE-TAD), today announced general availability of new functionality
software for ESRI's ArcPad.
Created
using ArcGIS 9.0 technology, with support for ArcGIS 8.X included,
the software automates the process of fully synchronizing
fresh GIS data between ArcSDE or Personal Geodatabases and
shapefiles stored on handheld devices when docked or on-line.
The software aims to be a seamless extension to ArcGIS.
Initially,
the system will be sold by Tadpole-Cartesia direct to ESRI's
worldwide customer base. Special early-adopter packages run
through Q1,
2005.
