Claviature
intros large-key multi-language text input for Pocket PCs
Helena,
MT, Jan. 7, 2004 -- (MobileVillage) -- Microth, Inc. has released
Claviature 1.00 for Pocket PC, a large-key text input method
that aims to provide faster Pocket PC text input in about
60 world languages.
 |
Claviature
occupies a small amount of screen space under an application.
The keyboard's keys are about 6 times larger then keys
of regular on-screen keyboards, and are even larger
then keys of full screen keyboards. Users can customize
Claviature's keycaps, including background, fonts, font
sizes and colors.
Users
can download language layouts for about 60 languages,
and Claviature supports several language layouts simultaneously.
|
Because
Claviature provides standard international layouts with familiar
symbol placement, dead-keys and Alt-Grey layouts, the company
says that it doesn't require any training.
Claviature
is a native PPC Soft Input Panel (SIP) and works on Pocket
PC 2002, 2003, 2003SE (including HiRes). Claviature sells
for US $14.95. To try or buy it, see the Handango
web site.
