Course Hero helps high school & college students with study resources, study guides, 24/7 online tutoring app, college course advice and more.

We all aspire to be something great. And often, those dreams take hard work and a college degree. But only half of students will graduate, and the majority won’t graduate on time. Students are striving, struggling and when they get stuck, it feels like the end of the road. But now there’s help.

24/7 tutoring app, study resources & study guides

Course Hero is an online service and mobile app with more than 20 million course-specific documents shared by a community of students and educators. The idea is to make it easy for students to share and discover resources, get unstuck, practice, and understand the how’s and why’s of what they’re studying.

When you use Course Hero, you’ll find notes uploaded by other students and educators who have taken or taught the exact courses your’re taking, at your specific college. You can also use study guides or videos, view answers to commonly asked questions, and more.

The Course Hero website and app has tutors available 24/7 to answer students’ most pressing questions, and interactive practice problems. In short: When it’s time for studying, it’s time for Course Hero.

Course Hero’s roots, vision, & scholarships
Course Hero founder Andrew Grauer

In harnessing the power of technology to improve education, Andrew Grauer co-founded Course Hero, an online learning platform that has helped over 20 million students find practice problems, study guides, videos, class notes, and 24/7 tutoring with step-by-step explanations for every subject they are studying, in 2006 while attending Cornell University.

As CEO, Andrew’s vision for Course Hero is to build towards a world where every student graduates, confident and prepared. Partnering with Educators to make this vision a reality is of paramount importance, as exemplified at Course Hero’s annual Education Summit. Held in July, the event hosted 200+ educators representing 50+ colleges and universities from around the country.

Giving back to the community is also important to Andrew. Course Hero recently partnered with the Woodrow Wilson Foundation to launched a Fellowship Program to support higher ed educators. Moreover, for the last three years Course Hero has provided monthly scholarship opportunities for students.

Andrew is an honoree of SF Business Times Upstart 50, Goldman Sachs 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs and both Forbes and Inc Magazine’s 30 under 30 awards.
