BlackBerry® Enterprise Service 10 (BES10) is a fully integrated solution providing comprehensive device, content and app management, as well as secure connectivity, for corporate-issued and BYOD BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices.

The BES10 enterprise mobility management solution assists organizations in balancing their security needs against the privacy and productivity requirements of end users. BES10 (screenshots above and bottom of this page) delivers proven BlackBerry security and controls to organizations of all sizes with mixed mobile environments. With features such as Data Leakage Prevention to prevent work data from leaking into personal channels, and encryption of data-at-rest and data in-transit, BES10 is optimized for industries with the most stringent security requirements.

BES10 also provides management and deployment of a corporate app storefront (BlackBerry® World™ for Work) to push and install mandatory apps and publish recommended apps to both BYOD and corporate-owned devices.

There are currently 35,000 BES10 test and commercial servers installed globally.  BES10 also has the ability to support up to 100,000 devices (iOS, Android and BlackBerry) per domain, reducing cost for large scale deployments. With BlackBerry’s EZ Pass migration program, customers can receive free license migration and support to move from BES5 and other MDM platforms to BES10. More than 1 million BES10 client access licenses have been issued to customers worldwide. Of those, more than 100,000 of which were from competitors such as MobileIron and Good Technology.

BBM Protected chatBBM Protected

BBM Protected offers an enhanced security model for BBM messages sent between BlackBerry smartphones that protects corporate data end-to-end with additional encryption. Whether you’re a regulated business with strict compliance requirements, or a security conscious organization, BBM Protected adds advanced enterprise grade encryption to the already secure BBM service.

BBM Protected allows employees to take advantage of the speed, reliability and privacy of BBM for faster communication, collaboration and decision making while providing security conscious organizations enhanced enterprise grade security over corporate data-at-rest and in-transit.

BBM Protected is the only secure mobile instant messaging app that uses a FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic library. It works by adding an additional level of encryption to messages sent between BBM Protected users by exchanging a set of public keys that are unique to those two users.

BBM Protected provides unrivalled trust in enterprise messaging with end-to-end encryption and best-in-class technology for public-private signing and encryption key pairs. Several organizations are using BBM Protected in beta and will formally roll out the product in coming months.
