Apple has officially released iOS 6 update for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The latest version contains over 200 new features, including:

– Apple designed vector based maps
– Turn-by-turn navigation with spoken directions on iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (2nd and 3rd generation)

First jailbreak and criticisms
One group has already claimed an iOS 6 jailbreak, but only on older A4-powered iPhones and iPods.
Some users, especially in Europe, have criticized Apple for releasing its Maps app with missing cities and other mistakes. Rival Nokia is taking advantage of the criticism, saying that its maps app is better than Apple’s — namely because unlike Apple Maps, Nokia Maps can work while offline.
